These are the yummiest morning or afternoon treat EVER!  I created this recipe after a day volunteering at the during Orchid Daze at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.  I took a particular interest in the vanilla exhibit and got inspired.
I didn’t have the patience for a homemade batch from scratch so I opted for a semi-homemade. Just as good!
Vanilla Bean and Lavender Drop Biscuits
2 vanilla beans (just the tiny beans on the inside)
2 cups of Bisquick
1/2 cup of Lavender
1 cup of Almond Milk
1/2 cup vanilla cake mix
1 egg
1 cup of water
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions:
**Combine Lavender and Almond Milk in container.  Lightly whisk the ingredients together. Cover overnight to allow lavender to infuse into the milk. In the morning strain the lavender from the milk to use in recipe.**
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Stir ingredients in mixing bowl until soft dough forms. Use an ice cream scoop or your hand to form semi-round drops on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with butter, your favorite fruit preserves or by themselves with tea.
